Tasks: Firewall Engineer

Firewall Administrator vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Developing and maintaining support processes and tools for the global Firewall infrastructure
• Configuring the authorising rules for security devices access
• Supporting supplier contacts at the operational level with the main suppliers of the Firewalls
• Participating in Firewall operation and maintenance of the rule sets, as well as operating the intrusion prevention service
• Providing first and second level support of the Firewall, partner VPN and RAS VPN as well as the IPS infrastructure and authorization server
• Ensuring adequate know-how within the company organization and maintaining the documentation

Your experience/knowledge:

• Professional experience in the field of Firewall engineering and design
• Network knowledge in the area of routing, VLANs and multicast
• Excellent methodological competence in relation to the analysis and visualization of complex issues
• Previous work experience in an international environment
• Very good knowledge of both English and German, written and spoken

Your soft skills:

• Quick comprehension with a high willingness to learn
• Structured and goal-oriented approach
