Vernand is a non-profit organization recognized as being of public utility and founded to complement our team in the service located in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne. We are actively looking for a service worker (H/F) - permanent position at 50%. Context and mission: Because every life unfolds through social interactions, Vernand has been dedicated to developing a range of activities and events that allow beneficiaries to access culture, sports, and celebrations. The service activity is far from being ancillary; it is a core part of the organization's DNA in its commitment to contributing to a more inclusive and humane society, open to difference, and able to adapt to everyone's needs. The service currently offers a variety of events, some more ambitious and all of quality, both within and outside the walls. Some are well established in the landscape or have gained fame. Others involve managing a budget. You will therefore need to quickly take on your role, reflecting these responsibilities. The staff, composed of residents or workers, plays an active part in these moments. For some of them, volunteers contribute as well. Your mission revolves around three major axes: You consolidate the existing dynamic around the establishment of leisure, cultural, and social activities both inside and outside the organization, including the creation of new events if needed. You coordinate these activities with stakeholders, transversal services, and all involved parties to maintain the inclusive nature of these activities, both in their design and implementation. You assist the staff and establish ad hoc links with civil society to constantly ensure doing with.You oversee the financial and human management of the service. With the support of the fundraising department, you prospect among donors and maintain the necessary connections for their profiles. You have a very good knowledge of our environment and its public, built on fulfilling field experience, and possess proven skills across several scopes of work. A very good communicator, you enjoy creating connections and mobilizing. You know how to renew yourself, seize or create opportunities, and you can evolve autonomously; your sense of humor, flexibility, and adaptability help you juggle the diversity of tasks.
