Your Tasks

Lead and develop the Programme Management Department by ensuring the team is structured, trained, and equipped to deliver complex aviation programmes

Oversee the execution of Government Aviation programmes, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction

Implement robust risk management by overseeing risk identification in bids, managing risk budgets, and leading programme and cost reviews

Foster strong customer relationships and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless programme execution

Enhance programme management by improving tools, templates, and procedures while fostering a lessons-learned culture

Contribute to strategy and leadership by representing the department in leadership forums, supporting unit-wide initiatives, and driving strategic projects

With this you convince us

Extensive aviation expertise with solid experience in the aircraft industry, ideally in interactions with Government customers, and knowledge of aircraft life cycle operations

Strong educational background with technical qualifications (., Engineering degree), business education (., MBA), and Programme Management certifications being beneficial

Proven leadership skills in managing direct and cross-functional teams, leading complex programmes, and demonstrating lateral leadership capabilities

Excellent stakeholder management with a track record in customer negotiations, collaboration across departments, and process optimization experience

High personal competence with strong organizational skills, accountability, resilience, and the ability to work independently and accurately

Exceptional interpersonal and management skills including motivation, empathy, commercial awareness, intercultural understanding, and innovative thinking
