Tax Reporting Specialist

Within the Technology & Operations unit, Tax Operations provide tax related services for the Lombard Odier Front Office as well as for our external Business Process Outsourcing "BPO" Clients. The successful candidate will work within the Tax Reporting team with 9 colleagues and be responsible for the planning, testing, and production of tax statements, and to monitor related developments. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to operational projects and the continuous improvement of our tax tools and processes, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

This individual will mainly collaborate with team members to deliver a high-quality service, but also with other Tax Operations teams and other stakeholders (such as Technology, Front Office, Senior Management, and Legal) to identify, anticipate and follow up on any issue or change that might have an impact on our service offering. They should be detail-oriented, autonomous, curious, and able to identify risks and recommend mitigation actions, while maintaining clear communication with various stakeholders.

Our Tax Reporting team offers a cooperative and autonomous work environment with flexible working time. You will be surrounded with operational specialists of various backgrounds, within a dynamic and constantly evolving tax related environment.

YOUR ROLE

  • Manage the planning and production of tax statements for Lombard Odier clients and BPO clients ;

  • Create new and enhance business process controls for existing and future activities ;

  • Follow up business requirements and participate in testing as part of the in-house tax reporting application development ;

  • Liaise with key stakeholders, such as Front Office and IT teams ;

  • Provide support for data analysis on tax related topics ;

  • Draft and maintain operational procedures

  • YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent considered an advantage but "CFC"/"Maturité professionnel bancaire" also considered

  • Previous experience of tax reporting, or other related experience considered as a strong advantage ;

  • Excellent communication skills ;

  • Proactive and able to work independently with good attention to detail ;

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills ;

  • Skilled in MS Office especially MS Excel ;

  • Fluent in English and/or French (written and spoken). Other languages considered an asset ;

  • Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.
