Trailer Fees Specialist (80-100%)
The Trailer Fees Specialist is responsible for reconciling trailer fees received from fund managers, ensuring accurate recording, and processing repayments when necessary. These activities are governed by contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, and the bank's strategic objectives.
YOUR ROLE
Reconciliation: verify trailer fees received from fund managers against internal records to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
Recording: accurately record trailer fees in the accounting system, maintaining detailed and organized documentation for financial reporting and audit purposes.
Repayment Processing: execute repayments of trailer fees promptly and accurately when required, following established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Contract Review: collaborate with the legal team to review and interpret contracts (e.g., promotion agreements) to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Compliance Coordination: understand the responsibilities of local offices regarding due diligence and compliance requests. Coordinate efforts with other teams to provide timely responses and support.
Stakeholder Support: address inquiries related to trailer fees, providing technical expertise and strategic insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Process Optimization: contribute to improving team efficiency by identifying optimization opportunities, implementing best practices, and fostering collaboration.
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent (CFC / Maturité professionnelle bancaire also considered).
Previous experience in the banking industry is an advantage.
Excel mastery and proficiency with figures, utilizing advanced functions and data analysis techniques.
Demonstrate outstanding accounting skills, including accuracy in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance to ensure financial data integrity.
Solid understanding of financial markets and industry practices.
Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, building positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
Fluency in French and English (minimum B2 level).
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
