We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d)** to join our **Asset International legal team** at **Alpiq AG**. This role involves managing all legal aspects of **Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)**, providing legal support throughout the lifecycle of **energy flexibility projects**, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in **M&A**, **project development**, and **construction within the energy sector**. Expertise in international and cross-border transactions will be highly regarded. The position can be based in **Olten**, **Lausanne**, **Helsinki**, **Milano**, or **Paris**. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex agreements, conducting due diligence, and advising senior management on legal risks and mitigation strategies. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders including project managers, engineers, and financial analysts to ensure the legal integrity of projects. Your role will also involve liaising with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies to keep up-to-date with evolving legal standards in the energy industry. To be successful, you must possess excellent analytical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English is essential, and additional languages are a plus.
