Senior Financial Analyst Join Our Global Team in Basel

Are you passionate about making an impact and bringing your expertise to a collaborative environment? We re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) at Abbott s global headquarters in Basel.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping financial insights that support strategic decisions across our Operations and Quality Assurance teams. You ll work closely with the Financial Controller and cross-functional partners in Manufacturing and Quality, ensuring that your contributions help drive innovation and excellence.

What You ll Do

• Lead with confidence: Manage the month-end closing process across global sites, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.

• Collaborate and connect: Partner with diverse teams to consolidate financial data and provide meaningful insights that influence business outcomes.

• Drive strategy: Support planning cycles, including annual plans and forecasts, and deliver reports that empower leadership decisions.

• Innovate and improve: Enhance reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, Qlik) to make data accessible and actionable.

• Support growth: Assist in resource management and project coordination, contributing to initiatives that shape the future of our organization.

What We re Looking For

• A Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master s or certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA are a plus).

• 3 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, ideally in a multinational environment.

• Strong skills in SAP, Hyperion HFM, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik).

• Ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.

• A mindset that values collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
