The ASR (Riviera Security Association) is a pioneering public security entity that embodies a form of public action, bringing together several rescue services: Riviera Police, Riviera Ambulance, Riviera SDIS (Fire and Rescue Service), and ORPC Riviera - Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Civil Protection. Added to these areas are the Management and General Services, which form an entity established following the merger of various rescue services active in the territory of the Vaud Riviera. The ASR currently consists of 250 employees and nearly 750 volunteers (PCis and volunteer firefighters) who combine commitment and service-oriented values, quality and reliability of actions, proximity, and community spirit. The ASR is responsible for proximity security in the nine partner municipalities that make it up: Blonay - Saint-Légier, Chardonne, Corseaux, Corsier, Jongny, La Tour-de-Peilz, Montreux, Vevey, and Veytaux. It covers an area of nearly 150,000 residents. As part of its activities, the ASR is seeking motivated and committed police officers to join its Police Rescue Division. Responsibilities include ensuring public safety and compliance with laws and regulations, conducting regular patrols in the partner municipalities, intervening in incidents, accidents or any other emergencies, collaborating with other ASR rescue services (ambulance, firefighters, civil protection), and participating in prevention and awareness actions.The position requires holding the federal police certificate or a similar qualification, some years of experience in a police force, strong skills and a sense of public service, the ability to take on irregular hours in shifts, capacity to work as part of a team, and the ability to manage physical conditions and intervening in various situations.
