E-commerce Operations Manager

Main Duties

  • Administration of the Intershop Backoffice Tool
  • Strong collaboration and communication of technical information between the E-Biz IT Team, other IT teams and external partners to guarantee a stable and performing operation of the company website
  • Release planning for deployments and coordination approval
  • Facilitate the anchoring of projects within company website system environment
  • Support of Shared Service Cross-Site team with focus owner topics
  • Technical issue handling (bug reporting, change requests, tasks and SCO tickets) in close collaboration with the E-Biz IT Team and partners
  • Coordinate and solve critical incidents in collaboration with IT teams
  • Manage digital retail calendar occasions with marketing and content team
  • Provide technical consulting for all of the website and affiliated departments (eg, Customer Service, Retail Processes)
  • Ensure proper testing processes
  • Documentation of workflow and processes

Key Accountabilities

  1. Administration of Intershop Backoffice Tool
  2. Guarantee a stable and performing operation of the IT eco system based on agreed SLO to ensure an up-to-date information base for digital business center
  3. Manage release planning for deployments, hot fixes and coordination/approval
  4. Provide technical support/consulting for
  5. Support of Shared Service Cross-Site team with focus owner topics
  6. Technical issue handling (bug reporting, change requests, tasks and tickets) in close collaboration with the E-Biz IT Team and partners
  7. Manage digital retail calendar occasions with marketing and content team including:
  8. Documentation/reporting of workflow and process Coordination with various internal and external partners

Main challenges

  1. Ensure a proper operation of company website (performance, incident management)
  2. Management and mastering of the critical development track
  3. Full automation and Real Time communication of critical business processes
  4. Prepare a stable and high-performance environment during peak seasons
  5. Further development of Intershop Know-How
