It has been offering traditional private banking services to its clients for many years and is a highly respected brand globally.Finance Director - BankingLeading a small team - including 1 Accountant and 3 Back Office employees, your main mission will include the following elements:- Ensure the implementation and proper functioning of a financial and accounting system adapted to the size of the company and the nature of its activities- Ensure that the operations carried out by the various stakeholders comply with procedures and with legal and internal requirements- Implement and adapt procedures for optimal operation of the company- Control and monitor the activity of the Company in order to minimize risks in general- Assume the management of risks related to the exercise of the company's activities and in particular within the framework of asset management activityYour tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following elements:- Daily control of the accounting journals of all entities including stock exchange journals- Control of cash flow- Prepare bank, broker, forex, and custodian limits and ensure compliance with these limits- Ensure the quality and compliance with deadlines of legal reporting- Control the monthly financial statements established by the accounting department- Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory principles in terms of accounting (quality and compliance with deadlines)- Ensure the implementation of audit recommendations- Replace the accountant in case of absence- Participate in various committees at the request of the general manager- Monitor and manage the risks generated by the daily activity of the entity- Monitor Nostro investments and ensure compliance with limits and control weekly reporting- Ensure the proper functioning of the back office team, particularly with regard to various replacements during absences- Human resources with payroll management and monitoring of Salaries, AVS, and insurance- Ensure monitoring of new regulatory developments, particularly regarding risk management, in order to inform general management and ensure their implementation- Manage and coordinate projects at the request of general management- In collaboration with the general manager, prepare the budget and the reports necessary for the board of directorsThis position requires a full-time presence in the Geneva offices; teleworking is not possible.- 10+ years of experience in Swiss banking accounting, control, and risk - including FINMA reporting- CFO/Head of Finance experience in the banking sector (or in a Big 4 where you have audited small banks)- You are used to working on the ground (hands-on/hands-dirty) and not only at the strategic and supervision level- You already have experience in a Swiss bank of 4 or 5 employees- Enjoy managing a small team of accountants, financial staff, and back-office personnel- Experience or supervision of market risk and credit risk would be a plus- You must also be comfortable with risks related to compliance - notably investments, transactions, fraud - Risks related to compliance- Some exposure to treasury management and any related HR issues is also a plus- You are capable of leading a small team and having a pragmatic approach- French language, fluent English- Excellent communication skills- Ability to commit to a full-time office job, at 100% jid5ed2d76aen jit0417aen jpiy26aen
